ButeraNet Solutions LLC is a network design and deployment practice in Honolulu. I am the person who surveys your building, writes the design, configures the equipment and trains your staff. There is nobody to hand you off to.
Background
Seventeen years in military network operations, most of it on submarine networks, where a misconfiguration is not something you fix next Tuesday. I have held the information system security manager role and worked as a cyber inspector across a squadron of fast-attack submarines, which means I have run the audit rather than only received it.
The habits that came out of that are the reason this practice looks the way it does. Survey before specifying. Stage before installing. Write the rollback before the cutover. Document as though somebody else has to take it over, because eventually somebody does.

How I work
- The findings are yours. Assessment output is written and handed over whether or not you engage me for the build
- Supplier price, with the receipt. Every line of a bill of materials carries the supplier, the URL and the date it was priced
- Documentation is a deliverable, not a favor. If I cannot document it well enough for you to run it, the design is wrong
- I will talk you out of things. An assessment that concludes you do not need the purchase you were planning is a successful assessment
- Cabling goes to a licensed contractor. You engage them directly and I coordinate the work
What this practice does not do
No help desk, no endpoint management, no email administration and no user support. Those are a different business with a different cost structure, and a firm that claims all of it at this size is claiming something it cannot staff.
ButeraNet Solutions LLC is not a licensed Hawaii contractor and does not offer or advertise contracting services. Physical cabling, conduit installation and equipment mounting are performed by appropriately licensed contractors engaged directly by the client.
